Uba Sani sacks Information Commissioner, appoints KSMC boss Maiyaki

Governor Uba Sani of Kaduna State has appointed Ahmed Maiyaki as the new Commissioner for Information, replacing Professor Muhammad Sani-Bello who has been relieved of his duties.

The announcement was made on Tuesday in a statement released by the Chief Press Secretary to the Governor, Ibraheem Musa.

The statement confirmed that Sani-Bello, who previously served as the pioneer Commissioner for Education in Governor Sani’s administration, has also been removed from the State Executive Council.

Governor Sani expressed appreciation for Professor Bello’s contributions to the government and extended his best wishes for the expressed.

Before his appointment, Maiyaki served as the Managing Director of the Kaduna State Media Corporation (KSMC).
