Armed bandits have reportedly killed three people and kidnapped several others in two separate attacks on communities in Malumfashi Local Government Area of Katsina State.

The tragic incidents, which occurred on Friday, were made public in a post on Saturday by a security analyst, Bakatsine, via his X handle.

According to the report, the first attack happened in Karfi community shortly after the Juma’at prayers.

During the attack, one person was killed while two others were abducted by the armed men.

Just hours after the first incident, the bandits launched another attack, this time targeting Layin Minister.

In the second strike, two people were killed, several others were left injured, and many residents were taken away by the attackers.

“Bandits attacked Karfi after Juma’at, killing one and abducting two. Hours later, they hit Layin Minister, killed two, several injured and many abducted.

All the communities are situated in Malumfashi LGA, Katsina State,” Bakatsine wrote.
