TeenEagle Champions: Tinubu praises Nigerian girls for global triumph in UK

President Bola Tinubu has extended his heartfelt congratulations to three Nigerian students, Nafisa Abdullahi Aminu, Rukayya Muhammad Fema, and Hadiza Kashim Kalli, who emerged as world champions at the 2025 TeenEagle Global competition held in London, United Kingdom, Daily Watch reports.
Seventeen-year-old Nafisa was honoured as the overall best in English language communication skills, while 15-year-old Rukayya clinched the top position in global debate. Hadiza was awarded the prestigious outstanding talent gold medal.
In a statement issued on Tuesday by his Special Adviser on Information and Strategy, Bayo Onanuga, President Tinubu hailed the trio for their outstanding performance, describing them as symbols of Nigeria’s promising future.
“These exceptional young Nigerians have demonstrated that the future of our nation is bright, with many of our youth serving as shining examples of excellence,” the President stated.
President Tinubu also commended their educational institutions, noting that their achievements highlight the quality and potential of Nigeria’s education system.
He emphasized that his administration considers education a cornerstone of national development and has made significant investments to strengthen the sector.
He pointed to the Nigerian Education Loan Fund (NELFUND) as part of his government’s ongoing efforts to remove financial obstacles for disadvantaged students aspiring to attain higher education.

President Tinubu encouraged Nafisa, Rukayya, and Hadiza to remain committed to their academic pursuits and wished them continued success in their future endeavours.
