NPFL set to reward excellence as Ogunmodede, Yusuf lead honourees

The Nigeria Premier Football League (NPFL) has announced that Remo Stars head coach Daniel Ogunmodede and Nasarawa United striker Anas Yusuf will be officially recognised at its awards ceremony in Abuja on September 2.

The recognition, which was initially scheduled for earlier in the summer, was postponed due to their engagement with the CHAN Eagles.

Yusuf emerged as the league’s top scorer in the 2024/25 season with 18 goals, while Ogunmodede made history by leading Remo Stars to their first-ever NPFL title.

Both winners will be presented with a commemorative plaque and a cash prize of ₦1.5 million each.
