Katsina Gov Dikko Radda survives minor road accident near Daura

Katsina State Governor, Dikko Radda, was involved in a minor road accident on Sunday evening while travelling along the Daura–Katsina Road.

The incident occurred shortly after the governor had visited the residence of the late former President Muhammadu Buhari in Daura, where he received condolence messages from sympathisers.

His Chief Press Secretary, Ibrahim Mohammed, confirmed the development in a statement made available on Sunday.

He assured the public that the governor did not sustain any serious injuries.

“We are pleased to confirm that the Governor is in good health and stable condition, with no serious injuries sustained,” the statement read.

Mohammed also stated that Governor Radda “remains in high spirits and expresses his gratitude to Almighty Allah for His protection, as well as Katsina citizens and well-wishers for their prayers and concern.”
