The Chief Executive Officer of AIBEN Properties Ltd, Chief Dr. Andy Elerewe, has stressed the importance of partnership, wellness, and nation-building during his address at the recently concluded NUJ FCT 2025 Football Tournament.

Dr. Elerewe described it as a “privilege” to partner with the Nigeria Union of Journalists (NUJ) FCT Council, which he praised as “very trustworthy.” He explained that AIBEN’s commitment goes beyond real estate, focusing also on creating platforms where people can network, promote wellness, and enjoy life beyond work.

“For us at AIBEN, it is vital to create platforms where people can come together to network, foster wellness, and enjoy life beyond work,” he said.

Highlighting the company’s dedication to exercise, fun, and social interaction as part of overall wellbeing, he revealed that AIBEN has supported the tournament for two years and promised continued involvement. “We are very happy with what has happened so far. The warm and exciting atmosphere here is exactly what we aim to foster,” he added.

Dr. Elerewe commended the NUJ FCT Council leadership under Comrade Grace Ike for their foresight in initiating a program that blends recreation, networking, and the exchange of skills. “Kudos should be given for creating an initiative that truly enhances wellness and camaraderie among members,” he said.

He reminded participants that AIBEN’s mission goes beyond building houses, as supporting institutions like NUJ is also part of contributing to nation-building. He urged other corporate bodies to follow AIBEN’s example by supporting NUJ programs, adding, “By doing so, we help amplify the voice of the voiceless and build a stronger society.”

Dr. Elerewe emphasized AIBEN’s social responsibility and vowed continued support for those facing injustice, noting that building a fairer society is a collective goal. On the health side, he praised the tournament as a platform where participants can embrace healthier lifestyles, saying, “We believe health is wealth, and better platforms like this encourage a healthier lifestyle.”

The football tournament was thrilling, with AIBEN Properties defeating Nigeria Customs 3-1 in the NUJ FCT Council 2026 Novelty match, showcasing both their competitive spirit and community engagement.

In her remarks, NUJ FCT Chairman Comrade Grace Ike thanked AIBEN Properties for being the title sponsor and described the company’s dedication to community development and youth empowerment as a step in the right direction, aligning with the council’s vision. She also commended the players, coaches, and officials for their efforts in ensuring a fair and successful tournament.
