Cross River Govt unveils Legal Officer recruitment shortlist [Full List]

The Cross River State Civil Service Commission has released the names of shortlisted candidates for the ongoing recruitment of legal officers into the state civil service.

This development was announced in a statement signed by the Commission’s Chairman, Sir Maurice Effiwatt, on Wednesday, July 16, 2025.

According to the release, the shortlisted applicants who applied for various legal officer roles via the state’s recruitment portal, are scheduled to undergo a written examination and interview exercise between Monday, July 21 and Friday, July 25, 2025.

Candidates have been advised to visit the notice boards of the Cross River State Ministry of Justice and the Civil Service Commission for specific details regarding the dates, times, and venues for their respective assessments.

The shortlist, which reflects applicants from all 18 local government areas in the state, is now available for public viewing.
