Legendary wrestler Hulk Hogan has passed away at the age of 71, bringing an end to one of the most celebrated chapters in professional wrestling history.

His death comes as a shock to fans, especially after his wife recently dismissed health rumours surrounding him.

Hogan’s passing marks a huge loss in the world of sports entertainment.
Hulk Hogan first emerged on the wrestling scene through the American Wrestling Association but gained widespread fame in the 1980s after joining WWE, then known as WWF.
With his iconic mustache, unmatched charisma, and signature line “Whatcha gonna do, brother?”, he quickly became a household name around the world.
His career later extended to WCW, where he co-founded the New World Order (nWo) and further cemented his legendary status in the sport.
Beyond wrestling, Hogan made his mark in acting and reality television.
He starred in several films and became the face of VH1’s Hogan Knows Best, which aired for four seasons and gave viewers a glimpse into his personal life.
At the time of his death, Hulk Hogan was estimated to be worth around $25 million, with earnings coming from wrestling contracts, merchandise, acting, endorsements, and business ventures.
He also famously won a $140 million lawsuit against Gawker in 2016, later reportedly collecting around $31 million after reductions.
However, Hogan’s financial journey wasn’t without setbacks. His divorce from ex-wife Linda Hogan significantly reduced his wealth, costing him 70% of their liquid assets, $3 million in cash, and 40% of his companies.
Despite this, he managed to bounce back through business ventures like Hogan’s Beach Shop and Hogan’s Hangout in Florida, both popular spots for wrestling fans.
Throughout his career, Hogan also endorsed major brands including Honey Nut Cheerios, Carma HoldCo, and 1-800 LoanMart.
He even attempted to enter the food industry with a short-lived brand, Hulk Hogan’s Pastamania, during his WCW days.
Hulk Hogan was more than a wrestler—he was a pop culture force. His voice, image, and persona resonated with generations of fans across the globe.
While controversies occasionally trailed him, his contributions to wrestling and entertainment are undeniable.
