BREAKING: Anambra PDP guber candidate Jude Ezenwafor shot in Abuja

Jude Ezenwafor, the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) candidate for the upcoming Anambra governorship election, has been shot just three months before the poll scheduled for November.

A spokesperson for the PDP confirmed the incident to Daily Watch on Saturday, though details surrounding Mr Ezenwafor’s condition remain unclear at the moment.

The Federal Capital Territory (FCT) Police Command said they had not yet received any formal report of the shooting.

However, the authorities noted that they would begin an investigation to ascertain the circumstances surrounding the incident.

Back in May, the PDP officially submitted Jude Ezenwafor’s name as its governorship candidate, with Okeke Chukwudi named as his running mate for the election.
