BBNaija returns July 26: Organisers promise twists, boost prize to N150 Million

The much-anticipated 10th edition of Nigeria’s biggest reality TV show, Big Brother Naija (BBNaija), is officially set to premiere on July 26, 2025, with the organisers, MultiChoice Nigeria, announcing a record-smashing N150 million grand price, the highest in the history of the franchise.
The announcement was made during a press conference in Lagos on Wednesday, where show executives also teased a new format and dramatic twists never seen before on the show.
According to the organisers, this season is designed to mark a bold milestone in the history of BBNaija, which first launched nearly two decades ago.
This is a major upgrade from the 2024 edition, where housemate Kellyrae made headlines as the first married contestant to win the show, taking home ₦100 million.

The theme “No Loose Guard,” introduced the concept of paired housemates, which led to intense emotional dynamics and fan engagement.
However, the producers revealed that Season 10 will divert from that format, introducing fresh competitive layers following physical auditions that took place nationwide from May 16 to 18.
