Apply Now: Renewed Hope Employment Initiative Phase 2 begins nationwide

The National Directorate of Employment (NDE) has officially launched Phase Two of the Renewed Hope Employment Initiative (RHEI), opening an online registration portal aimed at addressing unemployment and providing Nigerians with essential vocational and digital skills.
Speaking during the inauguration of the digital platform in Abuja on Monday, the Director-General of NDE, Mr. Silas Agara, stated that the second phase would be entirely digital to ensure transparency and wide accessibility.
“After the success of Phase One, we have enhanced our infrastructure to make Phase Two fully digital.”
“We have deployed robust hardware, software, and internet connectivity to all 37 states, including the FCT, to ensure seamless operations,” he said.
Agara explained that applicants must possess a valid National Identification Number (NIN) and reside in any of Nigeria’s 36 states or the FCT, regardless of their state of origin.
Eligible participants must be between 18 and 45 years old.
The training program will cover more than 30 vocational and digital skills, carefully tailored to suit the economic needs of different states.
“What’s relevant in Abia may differ from Adamawa, so we have customized training to maximize local opportunities,” he noted.
Registration is available on the official portal www.nderegistrationportal.ng from July 28 to August 11, 2025, with application processing set for August 12 to August 22.
Agara emphasized that no extension will be granted beyond the deadline.
He also warned against fraudulent agents and stated clearly that the program is free of charge.
“Any suspicious activity should be reported to our headquarters or state offices. We have job centres in all 37 states, including the FCT,” Agara added.
