APC members protest in Lagos, demand ouster of State Chairman Ojelabi

Members of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in Lagos State took to the streets on Monday, staging a protest at the Lagos State House of Assembly in Alausa, Ikeja, to demand the immediate removal of the party’s state chairman, Pastor Cornelius Ojelabi.
The demonstrators, reportedly representing all 57 Local Council Development Areas (LCDAs) in the state, arrived in large numbers, holding placards bearing various messages expressing their dissatisfaction with Ojelabi’s leadership.
They called for urgent reforms in the party’s state structure, citing the need for new direction and accountability as the state prepares for future political contests.
To prevent any breakdown of law and order, security operatives, including police officers, were deployed to the area.
More to come.
