Barcelona have reportedly reached a broad verbal agreement with Manchester United for the loan signing of Marcus Rashford, with an option to buy.

According to information obtained by Daily Watch, negotiations are progressing smoothly, with the Spanish giants keen to conclude the deal in the coming days. The proposed move includes a loan arrangement with a buy clause to be finalized soon.

Transfer expert Fabrizio Romano confirmed the development on his X account, stating, “Verbal agreement in principle between all parties involved with Barça planning for medical tests next days. Loan deal with buy option, details being finalised today then Man Utd will authorise his travel to Spain.”

Rashford has previously expressed his interest in joining the Catalan club.

When asked earlier this summer by a Spanish influencer if he would like to play alongside Barcelona wonderkid Lamine Yamal, Rashford replied, “Yes, for sure. Everyone wants to play with the best. Hopefully, we’ll see.”
